Numerical model for a widely tunable self-similar oscillator

Abstract

We propose a design for a widely tunable oscillator operating over the wavelength range 1 µm to 2 µm. Numerical simulations show that the pulses evolve self-similarly in each stage of the oscillator maintaining a hyperbolic secant form.
