Long wavelength cutoff of photoinduced gratings in photosensitive glass fibers

Abstract

We show experimentally that the longest wavelength that photoinduced gratings can be written in Ge-doped glass fibers coincides with long wavelength cutoff of two-photon absorption of GeO molecules.
