Interferometric image reconstruction through the turbulent atmosphere

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

A high-resolution image of an incoherent object can be recovered in spite of the atmospheric turbulence. The spatial frequency spectrum of object radiance is calculated from digitized interference patterns obtained by a computer-controlled wave front folding interferometer. The reconstruction technique and its application to a laboratory-generated turbulence are presented.
