Far-field impulse response verification of selected high-frequency optics backscattering analogs

Abstract

Impulse response approximations are presented for selected refractive indices to illustrate the variety of pulse returns for dielectric spheres. High frequency analogs for the rear axial and glory rays are verified by comparison with isolated returns in appropriate impulse responses.
